Understanding Loss without religous under tones!

I loved this book, and after reading it I too wrote a good-bye letter to my Grand daughter! The book is about transformation, and could be preceived as an after life of Heaven, but I think I read that into it as I was raised Catholic. Very good book, It will be read over & over.

I loved this book! The book is about transformation after life. We read this book every night part of our healing process.
I was in 4 Barnes and Noble and they don't have this book, truly glad Amazon have them.

Amazing book, I can see a lot of effort ...

Amazing book, I can see a lot of effort was put into it, but I can't seem to find the DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT SET, which is mentioned on practically every page, but with no mention on how TO ACTUALLY DOWNLOAD IT. If someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking for hours but to no prevail.

Dont waste your money

You would think that a book that costs over $50.00 and contains over 1200 pages would be a great investment... however, this is not what I found. The book came lose inside an Amazon box and being tossed about by FedEx the thing had bent corners. Then I started to digest its contents and found it hard to follow and poorly written. In trying to do some of the so-called tutorials I was amazed at how confusing the instructions were and not only that, the instructions were continuously wrong. Things like flip it horizontal when it needed flipped vertical, etc., etc.. They provided one file that showed how a covered wagon should look when done and even whoever did the wagon had it wrong. Lettering on one side of the wagon went up over the top of the wagon while the lettering was places lower in its proper place on the other side. Take my advice... find something else to spend your money on. It is my hope that someone will release an edition that has all of the mistakes taken out of it. Oh... let me mention that it leaves out many of the menu items and so on. I can't think of any book that I've ever bought that was such a mess... and I've been around for 72 years!

About the Author

Mauro Borgo received his B.A. and his Ph.D. in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineer in 1999 and in 2003 respectively, both from the University of Padova, Italy.  His interests are in signal and data processing for wireless communication. He adapted his competences of signal processing to the multi-sensor/actuators cells systems. He has an international patent on “Multi site- Single CellElectroporation”. He was a lecturer in “Electrical communication” and in “Matlab” at the University of Padova(Italy).

Alessandro Soranzo received his B.A. in Experimental Psychology in 1999 and his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in 2004, both from the University of Trieste, Italy. He also did a Post-doc in Vision Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University (Glasgow, UK). He is senior lecturer in Cognitive Psychology at Teesside University in Middlesbrough (UK). His research interests are in colour perception and psychophysical methods.

Massimo Grassi received his B.A. in Experimental Psychology in 1997 and his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in 2003, both from the University of Padova (Italy). He has also been a Visiting Scientist at University of Sussex (UK). He is lecturer in Sensation and Perception at University of Padova (Italy). His research interests are in sound perception, crossmodal perception, and psychophysical methods.

Good introduction to Matlab - but MANY typos throughout exercise sections.

I'm starting to learn Matlab with this book with a little programming experience coming in.

So far I'm on Chapter 3 and there are MANY blatant typos and errors in the exercise section, which is quite frustrating. It seems as if there are errors in the instructions for the exercises which were fixed in the solution portion, but they forgot to go back and fix them in the instructions.

My limited programming background allows me to intuitively see through most of these errors so far, but this may not be so for a complete newcomer to this area. I'm giving this book three stars because it is serving its utility in teaching me the basics of Matlab, I just wish I didn't have to struggle to overcome the typos in this book in addition to the learning curve of the software.

It's a pity since the wook would be great if it wasn't for that

The book is well written and the concepts are very clear, it has excercises with solutions and everything. The BIG problem is that it has a lot of typos and erros, and when i say that it has errors i mean in the commands. So when you are trying to learn something you have to fix the errors in the examples that they give you and in the excercises, which beats the whole purpose of the book. If you copy and paste the commands that they show in the book, about 40% of them won't work. It's a pity since the wook would be great if it wasn't for that. They should've checked the commands before printing it. Going back to 'Matlab for neuroscientist'

Missing answer key kills the usefulness

The lab exercises provided are excellent. The problem is, the lab is full of questions, and there is no answer key provided. So there's no way to validate if you have the correct answer to the questions. This makes it very hard to know if you've actually learned what they are supposed to be teaching you. As such, this is of questionable value.

Contemporary Romance-For the Spanking Fan

I enjoyed this book. Ross and Mia broke up years before the book's action over a misunderstanding that was believable due to their ages at the time. Just Right For Me is the story of their reuniting. This time they are both more mature, and ready to do the hard work a long term relationship requires. It's so much easier (and safer) to just walk away!
With the example of Mia's sister's marriage to his best friend, Ross decides to use dominant male tactics, called Domestic Discipline in this novel, to win Mia back. Mia is intelligent and independent, so the idea of her lover as an authority figure is offputting. But Mia is also honest with herself, and has always found herself sexually aroused by the idea.
The characters in Just Right for Me are well developed and well rounded. They're real people, not cut outs. The situation is believable for a woman of today (which tends to be important to me as a reader, dang it!). Mary Wehr can write-so things move along at a good pace, and there's some HOT spankings and HOTTER sex....
Go buy it.

Just Right for Me is Just Right for You Too

Just right for me is a charming and engaging book about two people who need to find each other after a fateful breakup years ago. Each is hurting for their own reasons, but like puzzle pieces, they fit together and make a loving and tender relationship.

This is a very well-written book, full of romance, erotic encounters, and spankings. Believe me, Mia deserves every one she gets, and Ross isn't hesitant to dole them out when her behavior merits it. Neither has been in a domestic discipline relationship before, but after seeing their good friends' success with it, they find they want to try. Once this decision is made, they're each too stubborn to let it end.
Domestic discipline works well for Mia and Ross, and they find their happy ever after – not to mention a sweet pet kitten.

I recommend this book by Mary Wehr. If you enjoy Blushing Books or Bethany's Woodshed, you'll love Just Right for Me, and even if you're not familiar with those publishers, the romance in this delightful story will keep you coming back for more.

Very good read! I loved the characters in this book and all the spankings ;) Ross can spank me anytime. If you love a good romance and a great spanking you must pick this one up!

As a a mom who always looks for tools to teach culture to my kids and talk about traditional holidays, I was so excited when I came across a book about Lohri that not only shared the story behind the bonfire festival, but also shared the story using rhymes...In Lohri: A Bonfire Festival moms get a chance to see how Punjabi is used to teach kids to read the Gurmukhi script. About the Author
Parveen Kaur Dhillon is a Sikh-American who is passionate about spreading multicultural education through the celebration of various traditions and holidays. She is the award-winning author of My First Sikh Books, a set of books designed to strengthen the pride and self-identity of young Sikh-American children. Parveen co-authored the curriculum for The Sikh Next Door, a multimedia, cross-cultural, educational project that provides a glimpse into the Sikh-American experience of children across the United States. She has also co-authored resources on bullying prevention and is active in multiple Punjabi community activities.

Parveen holds a Masters in Education from the University of Virginia and a BA in History and Asian Studies from Loyola University. She studied in Nanjing, China as an undergraduate and taught English in Japan for the JET program.

Parveen was born in Virginia, raised in Maryland, and is settled in San Jose, California, with her Blue Devil husband, her twelve-year-old magician, her ten-year-old crafty artist, and her seven-year-old music lover.

Great for educating our little 2 year old about her Punjabi heritage. I love the English and Punjabi. My daughter loves the songs in the back. I wish there was a CD with music to sing these songs with. That would be an awesome addition and I know we would enjoy those songs in the car!

What a Wonderful Gift to Warm Winter Hearts

Just got this book for my 4 year old daughter who loves to dress up in her Punjabi clothing and needless to say she is loving it.

The book is a beautiful and colorful introduction to the fun filled culture of Punjab. Ajeet and Raakha are celebrating Lohri by dressing up, dancing, singing the Lohri song and enjoying the yummy treats around the bon fire. The book brings it all to you, the song, the recipes, the cultural significance, all through bilingual child friendly poetic story telling. Must have for all times to come and read to the kids every winter to warm their hearts and keep the traditions alive.

(Pictures - My little Punjaban is fixated on the sweets page and wants to share them with all. She says "Thank You for this gift to me and to all children").
